Happy Memorial Day from Mt. Rushmore

We have accomplished a lot in the last couple of weeks.  Let me help get everyone up to speed.
We loaded up a Uhaul with all of our belongings (well, almost all) and took three days to drive to Raleigh.  Everything went super well until just east of Nashville when the trailer got a flat tire.

Three hours and two very hungry bellies later, we stopped in the next town to eat and sleep.  We made it to Raleigh the next day and had a week full of things to do.  We attended a beautiful wedding in Chapel Hill, roamed around Durham (where I will hopefully be working in a few months), and had some quality family time.  We then flew back to Denver to spend our final few days at our favorite spots and packing up Ty's car for our summer trip.  Today, we officially said adios to our cute little house and to Denver.

We made it to South Dakota today.  Mt. Rushmore was the first stop on our list and seemed so fitting for Memorial Day.  We hope everyone had a safe and fun holiday, and a huge thanks to all of our veterans out there who have fought and continue fighting for our country.

    1. No beef tips. We were only there for a day. I think we had nachos and wings. A straight up American meal. I doubt we're ever going back...
