YELLOWSTONE!

It was Yellowstone day today!  We spent the entire day in the park.  I had never been and had no idea what to expect.  My main goal was to see some wildlife.  And that, we did.  And the scenery was pretty great too.  :)

This is me at the Roosevelt Arch which is the north entrance.

And this is Ty poorly working the timer on the camera...

Our first wildlife sighting!  A lady elk.

The info packet said to give buffalo 25 feet of room.  This one was about 4 feet from the car.  Awesome.

We did a short hike to the bottom of Tower Falls.

Lake Yellowstone was beautiful.  And huge.  This doesn't do it justice.

And of course, Old Faithful!  It was a little chilly by this point.

And just as we were leaving the park, and Ty was getting impatient with traffic, we saw baby buffalo!  Highlight of my day for sure.

Tomorrow will be less miles and more relaxing.  Stay tuned for where we end up!
